DESCRIPTION AND FLOORPLAN OF THE FLAT LE CANDIDE
The apartment has a central position on the first floor of a 5-storey residence
at the top of Meribel-Mottaret (1800m). The slopes are just outside the
building. In the building there is also a
pass office, several ski rental outfits, restaurants and take-aways, a pub
with a fireplace, pool tables, and a well-appointed groceries store. There is a free shuttle bus service (8.30 - 23.30hrs) to Meribel,
there is also a rather cheap underground parking right by the building (4euros
/ day / car).
The apartment has a 2 Star Rating from the Meribel Tourist Office.
Méribel Mottaret, at 1700m / 1800m high, is at the heart of the 3 Valleys, the world's biggest ski area with 375 miles of groomed runs! Moreover, it is equipped with snow cannons to reinforce its snow cover when necessary. And if you don't ski, there are many more activities offered: hiking, paragliding, spa, etc.
You can go from the flat in le Candide to the flat in le Boulevard without going out !
The apartment has open views towards the valley and consists of two rooms (with a sliding partition which convert the living area in 2 bedrooms) totaling 28 m2 ; under-floor heating from December to end of April and electric radiator:
- living-room with TV, DVD / DviX, Stereo 3 cds, sofa-bed for 2, balcony (3m2)
- dining area, new equipment and pine furniture.
- sleeping area with 1 single bed with an under bed drawer and 1 single folding bed
- kitchenette very well equipped: microwave / oven / grill, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, raclette and fondue set
- bathroom with shower over and towel rail radiator
- separate toilets
- entrance hall
Charges: the deposit required (refundable) is 500€ which must be paid before a booking can be confirmed. The full rental must also be paid one months before the date of the holiday. Bookings made less than one months before the date of the holiday must be paid in full. Deposits will be repaid after inspection of the apartment by a qualified person.
Cleaning (optional, included VAT): 40€ - payable in advance with the rent.
Linen (optional, included VAT): 20€ for one person in a single bed and 24€ for two persons in a double bed (includes fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillowcase, bath towels set) - payable in advance with the rent.
Tourist Tax (compulsory, included in the rent): 1.10€ per person / per day.
